Beginner Level Acrylic Painting Classes (Weekday evenings)

These classes are perfect for anyone looking to explore painting—no experience needed! Whether you haven’t picked up a brush in years or you’re simply curious to try something new, this is a relaxed and encouraging space to create without pressure. We’ll focus on letting go of the “I can’t” mindset and enjoying the process.

You’ll learn basic techniques and foundational art concepts, including the elements and principles of art, color theory, brush handling, simple composition, and how to build your own canvas—all at a beginner-friendly pace. Our focus will be on the various ways of using acrylic medium.

Each class builds upon the last, so come ready to explore, learn, and express yourself! Class sizes are currently one-on-one but may expand as interest grows. While refunds are not available at this time, classes can be rescheduled if needed.

🕘 Days & Times: Mondays or Fridays | 2-hour sessions

💲 Cost: $40 per class or $200 for a package of 5 classes

🎒 Basic materials provided for each student include:

• Materials to build your own canvas

• Sketchbook (if you don’t have one)

• Curriculum outline

• Access to acrylic paints, palettes, brushes, drawing utensils, and paper

• Light snacks (occasionally)

Feel free to bring your own materials if you prefer. Please note: at this time, I provide acrylic and sometimes watercolor paints only. I do not work with oil paints.
